Dynamic, fast-paced company is seeking a skilled, tenured DB2 Systems Administrator to join their team of Information Technology professionals.
Our client, a nationwide systems provider specializes in the acquisition, design, engineering, evaluation, and development of advanced IT systems and data communications networks for information systems and applications. A qualified candidate should have a minimum of 4 years of experience in the
relational database design, deployment, system analysis and conversion of
server applications using DB2. Ability to work in groups as well as independently.
Strong customer service skills. Candidates should also possess strong
analytical skills and problem-solving ability.
Preferred, but not necessary background:
Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related preferred
Certifications a plus
Familiarity with a systems provider or related industry a plus
Position Type: approx. 6 month Contract-to-Hire*
